The goal of Seikkailupuisto Huippu is to offer activities in nature in a sustainable way. We strive to reduce the natural resources used in our operations and to minimize our carbon footprint. We also aim to provide our customers with information on how they can reduce the consumption of natural resources and lower their own carbon footprint through their actions.
The activities at Seikkailupuisto Huippu take both customers and employees to heights, which involves various risks. We have a safety process in place for risk management, and our operations are audited annually by Tukes. We train both our employees and customers to operate correctly and safely at heights.
Seikkailupuisto Huippu is an inclusive company. We do not discriminate against customers or employees based on age, ethnic background, language, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic.
We have been awarded the Sustainable Travel Finland and Green Key certifications for our responsible work in promoting sustainable tourism. We work in cooperation with these organizations to continuously develop Huippu’s operations in an even more responsible direction. The certifications are renewed annually and include, among other things, concrete environmental targets that take all aspects of responsibility into account.
our environmental goals for 2025:
- – We encourage our customers to act responsibly by organizing more sustainability-focused events. During the season, we organized two separate sustainability events where customers arriving at Huippu by bicycle or public transportation were able to purchase tickets at the student price.
- – We increased guidance on recycling at Huippu. We trained our employees in environmental education for customers and renewed the recycling signage on waste bins.
- – We reduced the amount of hazardous waste by acquiring a battery charger. This goal was achieved: a battery charger was purchased so that batteries can be reused, reducing hazardous waste.
our environmental goals for 2026:
- – To make Huippu more cyclist-friendly by installing bicycle racks in the park.
- – To organize “Green Weeks” at the beginning of the upcoming season in May, during which a new environmentally friendly practice will be introduced each week, taking Huippu’s operations into account.
- – To reuse wood waste generated during course maintenance, for example in the renewal and maintenance of railings.
