I want to come to the Huippu Adventure Park today. However, I’m unable to make a reservation online. Is the park fully booked?
Not necessarily. We also keep spots available for guests who arrive without a reservation. They are limited, but especially in cooler weather, there is often space. On a beautiful day, be prepared for a queue.
Is making a reservation necessary?
Climbing equipment is available in limited quantities. By making a reservation, you can ensure that you will get equipment when you arrive at the park. However, we do keep spots available for guests without a reservation as well. If you come without a reservation, you may have to wait for equipment to become available. So, making a reservation is recommended. We suggest doing so.
The weather is rainy and unstable. Is Huippu closed?
At Huippu, you can adventure in both rain and sunshine. Courses are only closed in the event of lightning or exceptionally strong winds. So far, due to strong gusty winds, we have temporarily closed only the highest courses.
Are gloves required on the rope courses at Huippu?
Yes. You can either bring your own gloves or purchase them from our kiosk.
I’m coming to Huippu. How does it work?
When you arrive, you will receive a helmet and climbing harness. Our staff will assist you in putting them on.
After putting on the equipment, you will receive instruction on the practice course. Our staff will explain and demonstrate how to use the equipment and how to navigate the courses, as well as familiarize adventurers with the general rules. Finally, each participant goes through the practice course themselves. The practice course includes one obstacle and one zip line.
After completing the practice course, you can move on to the main courses. It’s best to start with the easiest and lowest courses. Our instructors supervise adventurers on the courses and are ready to help and give guidance. Don’t hesitate to ask!
I have snacks, a change of clothes, a phone, and a wallet with me. Can I leave my belongings somewhere?
Next to the ticket kiosk, there are lockers for storing backpacks and bags. Small personal items like your phone, keys, and wallet can be left in the lockable lockers. The lockable lockers cost a renting fee of 2 €.
Supervised storage for larger items is very limited. For this reason, it’s best to leave items like laptops at home.
I’d like to organize a birthday party at Huippu. Can we bring our own food? Where can we eat?
We can organize birthday parties for you. Huippu offers ready-made birthday packages.
You can also host a birthday by making a normal group reservation for your party and providing your own food. It’s best to make the reservation online.
Own food can be enjoyed at Huippu on the sunny terrace in front of the ticket kiosk or, for more privacy, at the viewpoint cliffs nearby.
Can Huippu be paid for with sports or culture vouchers?

How young can a child be to go adventuring?
Children can go on Huippu’s web adventure and mega slide once they can walk – so from about one year old. Children under 5 must be accompanied by an adult on the web course.
Children can enter the rope course once they are at least 100 cm tall. Huippu has two tree-top courses and usually also the Little Huippu climbing course, all designed for adventurers at least 100 cm tall. Smaller children’s hands and feet cannot reach the steps. Tree-top courses are located at a height of six meters, but Little Huippu is only about half a meter above the ground. Children on Little Huippu can be guided from the ground.
Children under 120 cm can only go on the tree-top courses when accompanied by an adult. Every child is different, so parents should assess their child’s abilities and courage. Children can return from the low practice course if it seems that high-altitude adventures are not suitable for them. In such cases, the entrance fee will be refunded.
In Little Huippu, even the smallest children can adventure without an adult. On the tree-top courses, adventurers under 120 cm need an adult companion.
All children under 13 must have an adult supervising them from the ground. Only children 13 and older may adventure independently.
I’m coming as a supervising adult for my child. Do I have to go on the courses?
For a child under 120 cm, the supervisor must go up with them. For older children, it is enough for the supervisor to watch from the ground and ensure the child follows safety instructions and staff guidance. Children aged 13 and older may adventure independently..

An adventure on the rope courses is suitable for everyone at least 120 cm tall. Children between 100–120 cm can join with an adult. We offer a combined ticket for an adult and a child in this height range.
The web adventure for the youngest children is accessible once they can walk. Children under 5 must be accompanied by an adult, who can join the web course free of charge.
